Following the Israel-Iran conflict, regional airspace closures have left nine passenger aircraft operated by Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, and Tailwind stranded in Iran and Iraq.

The sharp rise in hostilities between Israel and Iran shortly after midnight on June 13 has led to widespread airspace closures across the Middle East, grounding several international flights and disrupting commercial aviation routes.
According to Haber Aero, nine passenger aircraft belonging to Turkish Airlines (THY), Pegasus Airlines, and Tailwind Airlines have been unable to return and remain grounded at airports in Iran and Iraq.
At Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA), four Turkish aircraft are parked: three Airbus A320s operated by Pegasus Airlines (registrations TC-NBC, TC-NBV, TC-RBM) and a Boeing 737-400 operated by Tailwind Airlines (registration TC-TLC).
In Shiraz, one Pegasus Airbus A320 (registration TC-NCA) is grounded at Shiraz International Airport (SYZ), while another Pegasus A320 (TC-NCP) is parked at Tabriz Shahid Madani International Airport (TBZ).
In Iraq, Baghdad International Airport (BGW) is currently hosting two Turkish-operated aircraft: a Pegasus A320 (TC-RFI) and a Turkish Airlines A321 (TC-LSO). At Erbil International Airport (EBL/), a Pegasus Boeing 737-800 (registration TC-RFE) remains on the ground.
Pegasus operates majority of stranded planes
Out of the nine aircraft affected, seven are operated by Pegasus Airlines, with one each from Turkish Airlines and Tailwind. All aircraft have remained grounded since June 13 due to ongoing regional airspace restrictions and heightened security concerns.
Emirates also affected
A Boeing 777 operated by Dubai-based Emirates Airlines has also been stranded at Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA), according to the same source.
